Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (“MRCB” or “the Company”) is leased to announce that the Company has today entered into a Joint Venture and Shareholders’ Agreement (“JVSA”) with Quill Sentral Sdn Bhd (“Quill”) and Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad (“KFHMB”) to set up a joint venture company to acquire a piece of land measuring approximately 7,503 square metres held under Geran 46092, Lot 70, Seksyen 70, Bandar Kuala Lumpur, District of Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan KL (“Lot B”) from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Sdn Bhd (“KLSSB”).

The joint venture company has on the same day entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement (“SPA”) with KLSSB to acquire Lot B for a cash consideration of RM133.0 million and will subsequently develop it into office towers with total gross floor area of approximately 1,400,000 square feet.
